How I keep Track on my Old Recipes

As a busy mom, I often find it hard to keep track of the old recipes that I printed online. Therefore, I got this idea to keep tabs on my good ol recipes and put them on a record book bound with a stiff cover and write down my cooking instructions. Those are the recipes that I modified, or something I made up for myself as well as some treasured family recipes I got from my mom and grandma. Just about every page is approximately suitable for a single recipe ingredient, although a few tested recipes require a couple of pages. Various journals can do equally well too.

recipe bookI created my very first record book in year 2004 after I got married and just surprised how time flies too fast that I’m working on filling up my second one. They tend to mirror the improvements with my food preparation style progressively.

Each record book has its distinct color in order to make sure that I will easily notice them instantly which one to use. So anytime I prepared something on the fly, and the result ends up fabulous, I place it in my latest book. The first one has more of my mom’s recipe, since I was just trying to learn the curve.
